Details
Made in London in 1968, this stunning vintage Victorian-revival trilogy ring is crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold and features a trio of natural precious gemstones arranged diagonally across a classic bypass gallery. At its centre is a deep 0.40ct oval-cut emerald, flanked by a vivid 0.22ct round pink ruby and a sparkling 0.22ct brilliant-cut diamond.
Each gemstone is securely held in contrasting white gold claws, allowing their rich colours to stand out beautifully against the textured gold band, evocative of a coiled serpent. The elegant, organic form is a wonderful nod to the naturalistic design language of the Art Nouveau movement, while the serpent-inspired motif echoes the enduring symbolism of Victorian jewellery, representing eternal love, devotion, and the unbroken circle of commitment.
Bearing full London hallmarks within the band, this exceptional vintage bypass ring would make an unforgettable alternative engagement ring or anniversary gift, with its trio of precious gemstones beautifully symbolising past, present, and future.
