This beautiful Vintage double-headed snake bangle features two Almandine Garnets set between the eyes of each snake.
Serpent jewellery became popular in the Victorian era and symbolized a wonderful combination of love, loyalty and friendship.
Almandine Garnet’s are known as the stone of Truth and are beloved for their violet/red colour that is said to provide protection and strength.
Each scale of the reptiles’ body has been beautifully rendered in Gold gilt around the flexible band. It is a wonderful piece and looks fabulous coiled around the wrist.
