A beautiful 20th Century Giardinetti brooch depicting a vase of flowers and leaves topped with a turquoise, opal, garnet, ruby, peridots, and diamonds.
Giardinetti is Italian for “Little Gardens”. The jewellery originated in Italy and became a popular love token across Europe in the 18th and 19th Century, depicting a basket or vase of flowers decorated with a colourful assortment of gems to enhance their beauty.
It’s been skilfully crafted in 18ct gold and fitted with a pin and locking clasp on the reverse. It will look wonderful pinned to a lapel and boasts a fabulous rainbow of gemstones.
