This fabulous Vintage Harlequin brooch modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold features an array of gemstones weighing 1ct - 2ct each, including Sapphire, Garnet, Citrine, Quartz, Spinel, Paste and Amber. The gemstones form part of a abstract tree-shaped design with a beautiful vibrance and spectrum of colour.
Harlequin jewellery is named after the colourful costumes of the 16th century comedy actors of the same name. It was very popular in Victorian times and is currently enjoying a revival.
