Radiating a bright luminescence from within, this celestial vintage moonstone cocktail ring is sure to captivate all who look upon it. Weighing approx. 3 carats, the domed cabochon moonstone has a semi-transparent surface and bright inner luminosity that intensifies with the light, mimicking the silvery-blue glow of the moon. It’s bezel set atop a tiered 14ct yellow gold gallery, consisting of open gold rings that graduate out like ripples.
The enchanting Moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and were said to guide you on the path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
With its distinctive style and magical centrepiece, this moonstone cocktail ring is a spectacular vintage statement piece that sits high and proud atop the finger for all to see. It dates to the mid 20th Century and is in great condition.
