A beautiful vintage pearl cross pendant, crafted in warm 18ct yellow gold in an ornate, Renaissance Revival style. The cross is adorned with eleven natural, uniquely shaped baroque pearls arranged along its crossbars, each displaying a bright white lustre and nestled within finely engraved floral settings, with beautifully worked flower cup mounts at the back.
Rich in Christian symbolism, pearls have long been associated with purity, faith, and salvation in religious jewellery. The eleven natural baroque pearls featured here may also symbolise the eleven faithful apostles, adding an extra layer of meaning to this elegant design.

It is suspended from a substantial 24-inch 18ct yellow gold palma chain so it hangs elegantly at the heart.
