Product Details
A glorious vintage carved half hoop ring made in the Victorian style. It’s adorned with a trilogy of natural cabochon opals (approx. 1.1ct total) with four twinkling brilliant cut diamonds nestled in between (approx. 0.10ct).
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of vibrant colours that shimmer and intensify with the light. Ethereal greens, pinks and blues flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
The piece is modelled in 18ct gold and features scrolled artistry engraved down the sides with Birmingham hallmarks within the band, dating the piece to 1965.
