This stunning mid-century vintage diamond and emerald “demi-parure” suite features a dazzling brooch with two matching clip-on earrings, presented in a bespoke box. Its abstract spray design, inspired by the fashionable taste of the 1950s and Dior’s celebrated “New Look,” combines flowing ribbons with exuberant floral clusters. It’s expertly crafted in pristine platinum and set with a dazzling array of round brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds, accented by five vivid green emeralds.
The brooch is fitted with a secure pin and safety-lock catch and is set with approx. 6 carats of scintillating diamonds, graded with excellent VS1 clarity and H colour. The matching earrings feature a further 2 carats each, bringing the suite’s estimated total diamond weight to an outstanding 10 carats!
The emeralds evoke spring, rebirth, and vitality, while the diamonds symbolise eternal elegance. Arranged in a graceful floral spray, the suite captures the beauty of nature in full bloom and reflects the optimism and glamour of the post-war era.
