A striking vintage turquoise diamond cluster ring made in London in 1968. A domed sky-blue turquoise cabochon bulges from the centre (approx. 2ct) and is haloed by twelve glistening brilliant cut diamonds, with an additional stone on each shoulder. They have SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 1ct.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December and considered a stone of luck and good fortune. It has been beloved throughout history for its opacity and calming blue/ green hues that reflect the sky and ocean, bringing about clarity, calm and happiness to those who possess it.
The stones are claw set in white gold with a yellow gold back and band, all modelled in 18ct. It’s a stunning 1960s cluster ring and complete with London hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band.
