An elegant Art Deco aquamarine diamond lavaliere necklace adorned with a fabulous negligee pendant, consisting of two long, asymmetrical droppers, decorated with twinkling diamonds and two clear-blue aquamarines at the bottom (approx. 0.40ct each). It’s fashioned in 15ct white/ yellow gold, with geometric milgrain settings and a fine gold cable chain.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March and derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It is said to bring happiness and good fortune and pairs beautifully with the glittering sparkle of diamonds, together arousing images of the sun glittering on the surface of a crystal-clear ocean.
This delicate Art Deco aquamarine negligee necklace dates to the 1920s and embodies the luxurious glamour of the period. Perfect for special occasions or every day wear, this necklace offers a timeless and elegant addition to any jewellery collection.
