Product Details
An elegant pair of antique Art Deco aquamarine pearl drop earrings fashioned in platinum and 18ct white gold. Two icy-blue aquamarines dangle from the bottom (approx. 0.80ct each) and are complemented by four bright, white cultured pearls set along slender bars above.
Aquamarine and pearls are considered treasures of the ocean and were a popular combination, with their soft white and blue colouring complementing each other perfectly, evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.
They’re a glamorous pair and complete with their original box with a cream velvet interior and red leatherette exterior with a gold floral border. It was made in London by The Goldsmith and Silversmith company in the early 1900s and displays their signature under the lid.
We recommend you insure for £1,600. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
