Product Details
An outstanding antique Art Deco diamond cluster ring, crowned with a striking old European-cut fancy diamond in the centre with a bright sparkle and champagne hue. It weighs approx. 2.8 carats and is bordered by two outer frames of glittering white diamonds, with three more on each shoulder (approx. 4ct total).
Like all diamonds, yellow fancy diamonds are a symbol of eternal love, but like a ray of sunshine, their golden warmth adds an extra touch of joy and optimism, promoting happiness and positivity to all who look upon it.
The octagonal, geometric gallery is typical of the Deco style and is modelled entirely in platinum, with milgrain edging, open-workmanship and a fabulous under gallery with scrolling, foliate motifs underneath. There is also a French platinum import mark on the outside of the band, suggesting it spent some years in France.
This has to be one of the finest Art Deco diamond rings we’ve ever exhibited for sale. It truly encapsulates the glamour and extravagance of the 1920s, with exceptional workmanship, and a spectacular collection of diamonds on show.
We recommend you insure for £25,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
