Product Details
A remarkable Art Deco cocktail ring from the 1920s featuring a large octagonal gallery decorated with glittering green and white paste stones surrounding a blue square cut stone in the centre, together simulating emeralds, diamonds and a sapphire.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that has been used since ancient times to simulate the beauty of gemstones. The art of cutting paste takes expert craftsmanship and the highest quality stones are often able to replicate the cut, colour and sparkle of natural gems to near perfection.
The gallery is quintessentially Deco in style with geometric shapes and milgrain edging. It’s modelled in silver and joins a 9ct gold band at the back. It’s a striking statement piece that truly encapsulates the style of the 1920s.
