Details
This fabulous Albertina-style bracelet started life as a traditional antique Edwardian Albert chain and features a classic T-bar and Birmingham hallmarks on the chain and dog clip, dating the different components to 1901 and 1904. It is composed of robust cable links, interspersed with three elongated trombone-style bars, with twisted wire detailing at their centres. The entire piece is modelled from sterling silver, each link stamped with the prestigious lion passant mark, and has been finished in a luxurious layer of 18ct yellow gold gilt, bestowing it with a warm, radiant glow.
It is a wonderful reinvention of a classic, beautifully preserving its original Edwardian charm while transforming it into a stylish and versatile statement piece for modern everyday wear. It measures an ample 10 inches in length, but the bracelet can be adjusted for a more tailored fit by fastening the dog-clip further up the chain, allowing the additional links to also be personalised with charms.
