Product Details
A regal pair of antique Edwardian drop earrings from the early 1900s built around two large pear cut amethyst drops weighing approx. 7ct each with a deep violet hue. They’re collet set in 18ct gold frames with a trilogy of twinkling brilliant cut diamonds crowned above (approx. 0.30ct total).
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
They’re an eye-catching pair, in excellent condition and dangle beautifully from long hook wires.
