Details
This gorgeous antique Edwardian aquamarine diamond navette cluster ring is adorned with a serene marquise-cut aquamarine at its centre, weighing approx. 1.4 carats, exhibiting an icy-blue hue. It is claw set in a pierced platinum gallery, mirroring its marquise shape, and joins an 18ct yellow gold band at the back, with fourteen twinkling transitional-cut diamonds pavé-set around the border, approx. 0.40ct total.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March and derives its name from its serene blue-green hue, reminiscent of tropical oceans or glacial waters. Believed to bring happiness and good fortune, it pairs beautifully with the sparkling brilliance of diamonds, evoking the dazzling reflection of sunlight dancing across a crystal-clear sea.
Preserved in superb condition, this striking Edwardian aquamarine diamond navette ring is a fabulous example of early 20th-century design, with a glamorous gallery of natural gems that point elegantly down the finger.
