Details
These sweet antique Edwardian ivy leaf earrings are fashioned in 15ct white/ yellow gold and decorated with six glittering old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.50ct total) and a lustrous cultured pearl above.
Ivy has long been a popular romantic motif representing a strong, unbreakable bond, reflected in the Victorian rhyme: “Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee.” This sentiment is enhanced further by the classic pairing of diamonds and pearls, symbolising purity, loyalty, and eternal love.
These dainty Edwardian diamond pearl ivy earrings date to the early 20th century and are in excellent condition. Simple and elegant, with a lovely sentiment attached, they’d make the perfect antique gift for a loved one.
