This fabulous 9ct Gold Edwardian unisex serpent ring is dated Birmingham 1913.

The ring is decorated with two snakes twisted together and beautifully detailed.

Serpent jewellery became popular during the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign coinciding with the full flowering of the Romantic Movement. Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, what a lovely combination.

The ring is set in 9ct Gold.

Hallmarks can be seen stamped around the inside of the shank.

The ring shows pristine craftsmanship of it’s time, and steeped in Edwardian history.
