Details
This exquisite antique Edwardian garnet diamond bangle was crafted in Birmingham by John Henry Wynn in 1907. The smooth 9ct yellow gold band has a pleasing rosy-gold patina that has developed with age and showcases seven graduated, crimson-red oval-cut garnets set along the front (approx. 3.8ct total), interspersed with twinkling diamonds, and flanked by scrolling rope and leaf motifs on either side.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and symbolic of passion, commitment, and enduring love.
Add some antique elegance to your jewellery collection with this grand Edwardian garnet diamond bangle that has remained in pristine condition. It’s secured with a reliable box clasp and safety chain at the side and features Birmingham assay hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band.
