Product Details
A fabulous antique Edwardian lavaliere necklace adorned with a Y-shaped gallery decorated with four glowing cabochon moonstones held in bezel frames with three small cherry-pink rubies set alongside them. The moonstones emit a bright blue light that shimmers across the surface. The largest weigh approx. 2.5 & 5.5ct and hang from a long dropper at the bottom.
The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom, and new beginnings.
The piece is fashioned in 15ct gold and hangs from a fine paperclip link chain held by a tube clasp. It’s a gorgeous piece, in excellent condition and showcases a lovely combination of gems.
