Product Details
A stunning antique Edwardian opal diamond cluster pendant, bestowed with a spellbinding natural opal cabochon, weighing approx. 7 carats, claw set in a frame of twelve glistening old European cut diamonds.
The opal has a smooth, gelatinous appearance, with a vibrant medley of blue, pink and green embers that burn beneath the surface and illuminate a burning orange sunset at the back. It’s complemented beautifully by the chunky old cut diamonds which have superb SI1 clarity – H colour and total approx. 3ct.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the Aurora Borealis.
The gallery is fashioned in 18ct gold and is fitted with a large loop at the top, dotted with additional diamonds and features a secure clasp at the back. It’s a marvellous antique Edwardian pendant from the early 1900s, exhibiting a truly enchanting natural opal at its heart.
