Product Details
A sweet antique Edwardian gate bracelet from the early 1900s consisting of 9ct gold gate links encircled with a spiralling gold ring around the outside with a colourful natural opal cabochon in the centre.
The piece is held securely by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp. These were often gifted to loved ones during a long period of separation as it was a symbol of the couple’s strong love and commitment to one another, reminding the recipient that they may be gone, but their heart will always be with them.
The piece is in excellent condition and complete with the maker’s mark and hallmarks at the back of the heart indicating it was made by B.H. Joseph & Co in Birmingham in 1905.
We recommend you insure for £1,900. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
