Details
A classy antique Edwardian pearl princess necklace from the early 20th Century adorned with fifty-nine cultured pearls with a bright, creamy tone. They’re threaded together and held by an 18ct gold/ silver box clasp that looks to be Georgian and is topped with a natural pearl and twelve glistening rose-cut diamonds (approx. 0.72ct total).
Pearls are cherished treasures of the ocean, formed naturally or cultured in freshwater and saltwater molluscs. They have long been worn as necklaces, favoured by royalty and fashion icons alike for their perfectly spherical shape and radiant lustre that symbolise grace, purity, and loyalty.
It’s very elegant and would be perfect for a wedding or a glamorous evening do.
