Product Details
An elegant antique Art Nouveau sapphire Toi et Moi ring, crowned with two deep-blue sapphires, weighing approx. 0.60ct each. They’re complemented by four twinkling diamonds flowing down each curved shoulder and together total approx. 0.32ct.
The two perfectly matched sapphires symbolise the coming together of two souls. The style was made popular in France in the 18th century and was named “Toi et Moi”, which is French for “You and me”.
The crossover band is fashioned in 18ct gold and twists gracefully around the principal stones which are set in pronounced claw mounts. It would make a stunning sapphire engagement ring and is complete with a gold owl hallmark, indicating it was imported and assayed in France.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
