A gorgeous Antique Suffragette garland necklace from the early 20^th Century featuring a line of Pearls along the bottom and seven droppers decorated with white Pearls, two pear cut green Peridots (approx. 2ct each) and a larger deep violet pear cut Amethyst in the centre (approx. 5ct). 

Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes! 

The piece is all 15ct Yellow Gold and a wonderful tribute to the Suffragette movement. It looks fabulous hung from the neck and held securely by a tube clasp.
