A beautiful antique Edwardian Suffragette ring adorned with a lovely 0.25ct Amethyst in the centre flanked by smaller 0.20ct Peridots, 0.08ct Amethysts and twinkling Diamonds.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The gallery is modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold with a beautiful engraved top gallery. The ring is fully hallmarked and dated Birmingham, 1905. It is a wonderful representation of the movement and looks lovely on the finger.
