Details
A fabulous antique Suffragette ring fully hallmarked and dated: Chester, 1908. The ring is modelled in 18ct gold with an amethyst in the centre, two peridots on either side and four twinkling rose cut diamonds nestled in between.
Together the colours of each stone show support for the women’s Suffrage movement which took place in the early 20th Century and symbolise; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The ring was once given as a gift and still has the original inscription inside that reads: T.G.F to M.N.W. It was clearly very dear to its original owner and has been kept in pristine condition.
