Product Details
A spectacular pair of antique Edwardian turquoise drop earrings from the early 1900s, each consisting of two polished cabochon turquoise and three sparkling transitional cut diamonds connecting in between (approx. 0.50ct total).
The turquoise have a calming sky-blue hue, with the stones natural white and black patterning showing on the surface, known as matrix. They’re claw set in 18ct yellow gold frames with platinum settings in between for the diamonds.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December and considered a stone of luck and good fortune. It has been beloved throughout history for its opacity and calming blue/ green hues that reflect the sky and ocean, bringing about clarity, calm and happiness to those who possess it.
These are a fabulous pair of Edwardian drop earrings and both in pristine condition. They display a wonderful combination of natural gems and swing freely from 18ct hook wires at the top.
