Antique Edwardian Wedding Band Ring Dated 1901

A beautiful Antique Edwardian band ring from the turn of the 20^th Century fashioned in solid 18ct Yellow Gold and engraved with a repeating pattern of hearts, Forget me nots and Ivy around the outside.

The images depicted have a lovely romantic sentiment as Forget me nots are a symbol of love and remembrance and Ivy, an unbreakable bond, such as friendship or marriage, as in the Victorian rhyme 'Close clings the ivy to the tree, so in my heart I cling to thee.' 

It would make a perfect wedding band and is complete with Chester hallmarks within which date it to 1901.
