This is one of the most fabulous French Paste bracelets we have had the privilege of purchasing.
A genuine French piece, Circa 1930.
The Bracelet is adorned with lovely colourful Paste Stones in a detailed pave setting of floral motifs in rich Suffragette colours.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking!
Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones.
They sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
Set in Silver gilded with 18ct Gold and stamped with French hallmarks on the double safety clasp.
French jewellery is extremely collectable world wide and steeped in history.
Looks fabulous when worn, a truly stunning find.
