This fabulous antique Georgian 18ct Gold ring is set with a fabulous rich purple natural Amethyst, Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
The lovely light purple cabochon Amethyst is 3ct in size surrounded by a halo of deep blue Sapphires.
