This fabulous Georgian 18ct Yellow Gold heart locket pendant is Circa 1830.
Set with a central Ruby, which is surrounded by a lovely blue Enamel heart, which has a halo of Diamonds that are encrusted into the gallery of the locket, finishing with an outer border of white Enamel and a engraved edged gallery.
The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the ruby is a symbol of friendship and love. Ruby is also the symbol of vitality and loyalty.
