These are a beautiful pair of original Georgian Garnet and Paste earrings.

Set in Silver with Gold wires.

In each earring sits a 0.75ct bright glistening old cut Paste stone at the top, leading down to a deep red tear drop Garnet dropper which is 1.75ct in size.

The Garnet is a stone of purity and truth as well as a symbol of love and compassion. The Garnet will help everyone's security level and spiritual awareness.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.

These earrings are not reproduction, they are genuine Georgian.

All set in high ct Gold and Silver, they have shepherd hook fittings for pierced ears.
