A glamorous pair of antique Georgian paste drop earrings, set with four chunky old cut paste stones that have been foil-backed to increase their beauty and sparkle. They’re claw set in sterling silver closed-back galleries and topped with 18ct gold hook wires.

Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that has been used since ancient times to simulate the beauty of gemstones. The art of cutting paste takes expert craftsmanship and the highest quality stones are often able to replicate the cut, colour and sparkle of natural gems to near perfection.
