A fabulous pair of Antique Paste earrings made during the latter half of the Georgian era, Circa 1800. Each earring is crowned with a large old cut Paste stone which is approx. 5ct and foil backed.

Paste is a transparent flint glass that is cut to simulate the beauty of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.

The Pastes are set in a closed back Silver gallery which is typical of the period and fitted with 18ct Yellow Gold hook wires. They have been beautifully preserved and in excellent condition.
