An exquisite antique Georgian collar made up of vibrant red pastes with a faceted, geometric pattern across the surface allowing the stones to glisten beautifully in the light.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. Red Pastes have the rich red colouring of rubies and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
The links are all held together with cut-steel rings leading to a large silver box clasp decorated with sparkling white pastes on top. It’s very well preserved from the early 19th Century and looks fabulous when worn.
