Details
A stunning antique Georgian ring boasting two green Emeralds, two flat top Garnets and a trilogy of Pearls in the centre. The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, It was thought to preserve love and has long been the symbol of hope. The ring has had slight solder work under the gallery but this is minimal work for such an old ring. The front gallery is from the Georgian era C. 1800 but has been re-shanked later, perhaps during the Victorian era with an engraved 15ct Yellow Gold shank which is complete with hallmarks on the inside. The ring is steeped in history and looks lovely when worn.
