This exquisite antique diamond cluster ring beautifully bridges two iconic eras, weaving a singular and captivating story. Dating to the late 18th century, these domed floral clusters most likely began life as bespoke cuff buttons or a sentimental brooch, treasured and worn close to the heart. Lovingly preserved through the generations, they have since been united on a graceful 15ct gold crossover band in the early 20th Century, reimagined as a timeless Toi et Moi ("You and Me") ring - symbolising two distinct journeys intertwining into one eternal destiny.
The twin clusters are set with approx. 1 carat of hand-cut rose-cut diamonds. Each stone has been meticulously foil-backed using the traditional Georgian technique, creating the soft, atmospheric glow that once shimmered by candlelight - a quality modern-cut diamonds simply cannot replicate. They remain in their original silver-topped 18ct gold settings, complete with beautifully crafted "pie-crust" coronet galleries that showcase the artistry of the Georgian period.
