







This wonderful antique Georgian mourning ring is all original from the 18th Century and features a large front gallery layered with a fine piece of golden silk that shimmers beautifully behind a protective glass window framed with Pearls.
Mourning jewellery mirrored the lives and times of the people who wore it and was often worn as a souvenir to remember a loved one.
The piece is modelled in a closed backed 18ct Yellow Gold gallery with an intricately designed shank that has been beautifully carved out by an expert hand.
This is a wonderful piece of Georgian history and a truly special find that deserves to be treasured.
