A pretty Antique Suffragette brooch from the early 20th Century depicting a beautiful wreath of violet Amethysts, green Peridots and lucky three leaf clovers dotted with white Pearls.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
The piece is all 15ct Yellow Gold and in excellent condition. It’s a lovely piece of history and highly collectable.
