This stunning antique Suffragette ring is set in 18ct Gold, set with Amethyst Peridots and Diamonds.

This ring is genuine old, hallmarked Birmingham 1902 and 18ct.

Emmeline Pankhurst was the leader of the British Suffragette movement in the 19th century and through her efforts won the right for women to vote.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.

Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
