Details
This grand antique Victorian Albert chain was crafted by the esteemed Birmingham jewellers Henry Allday & Son at the turn of the 20th century. It features solid gold trombone links, each stamped with a 375/ 9ct hallmark, and culminates in its original T-bar drop, complete with additional links where a fob or medallion would once have been suspended. The piece has developed a soft, rosy patina over more than a century - a testament to its age and history - and is secured with classic dog-clip and bolt-ring fastenings at either end.
Although an excellent choice for the gentleman seeking a true antique watch chain, its 16-inch length also allows it to be reimagined as a striking choker-style necklace. Worn with the T-bar front and centre, it highlights its refined industrial elegance, or it may be styled with your favourite charms for a more personalised expression.
