A glorious antique Victorian pendant built around a mammoth oval cut amethyst with a deep, regal purple hue. It weighs an impressive 35 carats (approx.) and is framed in a silver/ 15ct gold gallery encircled by glistening flat rose cut diamonds, totalling approx. 2.2ct.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
It’s a spectacular Victorian pendant, boasting a truly magnificent amethyst and is accompanied by a new gold cable chain to display it on.
