Details
A magnificent antique Victorian amethyst pearl cluster ring, dating to the mid 19th Century. A deep-violet cushion cut amethyst is collet set in the centre. It weighs approx. 4 carats and is haloed by two rings of bright natural seed pearls, radiating out toward the edge.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and the stone of Saint Valentine. Its deep purple-violet hue has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, natural lustre of pearls, which together symbolise romance, love and loyalty.
This grand Victorian cluster ring is modelled entirely in 15ct yellow gold, with beautiful, engraved shoulders on either side of the gallery. It’s a regal antique statement ring, all in excellent condition, with a glorious amethyst and pearl combination on top.
We recommend you insure for £1,900. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
