This elegant Victorian dragonfly brooch is adorned with a single bright Amethyst, 0.60ct approx. and its wings are set with sixteen bright pearls.

9ct Yellow Gold has been skilfully worked into the dragonfly’s segmented body and delicate limbs. Over time the gold has acquired a suggestion of a rosy hue, deepening the character of the piece.

Insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once considered a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Era.
