This lovely antique Victorian Amethyst and Pearl necklace is Circa 1860.
Set in 18ct Yellow Gold.
The pendant is adorned with creamy Pearls and stunning central large purple Amethyst which measures 4ct in size.
The Pearls sit on a beautifully decorated Gold panel with wonderful detailing.
Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.
