Product Details
A glorious antique Victorian ring built around a sizable oval cut aquamarine weighing approx. 5.75ct. It has an icy blue hue with flashes of green and glistening facets that mimic light shimmering on the surface of a clear blue pool.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March. It derives its name from its tranquil, clear blue/ green colouring that emulates the beauty of a tropical ocean or icy glacial waters. It was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and is said to bring happiness, good fortune and eternal youth.
The stone is bezel set in a robust 18ct gold gallery with split shoulders and a spiralling frame looping around the outside. It’s a wonderful statement piece showcasing a truly magnificent aquamarine.
We recommend you insure for £1,700. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
