Product Details
An elegant antique Victorian Art Nouveau bangle, featuring a fabulous crossover gallery at the front, with scrolling flourishes coiling around three twinkling old mine cut diamonds and a large natural opal. The opal weighs approx. 1.8ct and exhibits green, blue and orange embers burning beneath the surface.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The antique bangle is modelled entirely in 15ct yellow gold and has a lovely patina and flowing wave to its design, with a box clasp and safety chain at the side to hold it secure. It dates to the late 19th Century and has remained in pristine condition.
We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
