Details
Built around two rugged natural baroque pearls, these fabulous antique Victorian pearl drop earrings are truly exceptional. Each baroque pearl has a creamy lustre and craggy, irregular shape that has been creatively incorporated into the design, with 15ct gold wires clinging like ivy around each stone, creating a secure cage for them to rest in. They’re joined by additional baroque pearl nuggets on droppers below and on top with the wires.
Baroque Pearls are a true treasure of the ocean and produced organically by freshwater mussels and saltwater oysters. Unlike their perfectly spherical counterparts, each baroque pearl has a unique, unconventional beauty, with a rugged texture and irregular shape that sets them apart from the rest, making every stone truly one-of-a-kind.
These distinctive Victorian baroque pearl earrings date to the late 19th Century and have both remained in pristine condition. They’re highly individual and the perfect statement pair to enhance your own bold and unique style.
