Product Details
A regal antique Victorian bracelet from the late 19th Century boasting three imposing cabochon garnets weighing approx. 6ct and 13ct in the centre (approx. 25ct total). They’re lovely and smooth to touch and exhibit bright red flashes when they catch the light.
Garnet derives its name from the Latin word meaning “Seed” due to the stone’s similarities to a pomegranate seed. It’s desired for its blazing red flame that glows beneath its dark surface and is considered a stone of passion and enduring love.
The band consists of two 18ct gold snake chains that coil and interweave into tight knots around each stone. They articulate fluidly and are held by an engraved box clasp at the end, complete with a safety catch.
It’s a remarkable design, beautifully preserved and exhibits three mouth-watering garnets that look magnificent displayed across the wrist.
We recommend you insure for £4,995. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
